Welcome to our brand new website!October 16, 2012
Welcome to our brand new website!
And to a brand new album! The last few months have been packed with a lot of work and ultimately the release of our second album “Coming Home”. We had a fantatsic night at Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene September 11th, were we held our release concert. Packed with people and good vibes!
Where to start? Well, we released our first single “Sing Like Me” in July and it was immediately listed on several Norwegian radio stations – even NRK P1, Norways biggest radio station! We shot a music video for the tune (watch it below) in June. A memorable release concert was held at Victoria on Oslo September 11th and after that we’ve received rave reviews! You can read a couple of them below (in Norwegian only)! In August we shot yet another music video for “Cutting Room” and this video has just been released (Oct. 12th). You’ll find it in the Media section!
You’ll find our upcoming gigs here (link til Tour)! Keep supporting live music – hope to see you soon at one of our concerts!

Music video: Stina Stenerud & her Soul Replacement – Cutting Room
Official Music Video for “Sing Like Me” by Stina Stenerud & her Soul Replacements

Oppland Arbeiderblad – 5/6
Stina Stenerud mener alvor.
Stina Stenerud – vocals
Stina has always been singing! Bandwise she started out with a local cover act in 2000. Since then she’s done blues, jazz, soul – the works. Touring with JT Lauritsen & the Buckshot Hunters from 2002 to 2008, at which point she started her own project. Stina beholds strong lyrics with a twist and a powerful expression.
Stian Haslie – guitar
Stian studied music at Jessheim VGS and then Gauldal folkehøgskole. Won the Union Bluescup at Notodden with Bedrock Bluesband in 2006 and toured all over Norway the following years. Despite his young age he has a distict style and tone to his playing, which adds to the bands sound.
Kristian Wentzel – Keys
Music runs i Kristians blood, coming from a family with a lot of talented musicians. Has studied music for five years, and still is. Works as a freelance musician as well as playing with Stina.
Borgar Skoveng – bass
Born and rased into a musical family, and has studied music and freelanced as musician for almost two decades. Works today as a teacher as well as playing with Stina.
Tor Mikael Stav-Larsen – drums
Has played the drums in many different bands and settings for many years, often teaming up with Borgar on the bass. Has also studied music, and works as a school teacher.
